The condo, amenities and location were great. The only down sides were the stovetop didnā€™t always stay on and a couple of nights there was a beach club that played extremely loud music til 4 AM!

Great stay!

The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our week stay. Communication was quick and easy with the property owner with any questions or concerns, also with staff working at reception. Singular Dreams is close to the beach and beach clubs and to fabulous restaurants. Easy walk to everything! We would certainly come back!

The property was just as the photos reflected. It was clean and well appointed for a 3 week stay. Grocery store, shopping, restaurants & beaches within easy walks. Cabs easily available if you prefer not walking. Friendly and very responsive property management team. Constructive criticism: clearer instruction about how door lock works would be helpful, beach chairs for walking to beach would be a nice plus.

Great apartment and fab location - would use again

Apartment was great and as described. Perfect location to 38th within a couple of minutes walk with lots of restaurants and easy walk to 5th Avenue.Pools on roof were great , one disappointment 1 of the 3 pools was heated (which was needed as the other 2 were very cold) but for 5 of our 14 days stay the water was very cloudy & it was not heated. There was a lack of urgency to fix by the building maintenance Also the washer dryer facility was shut for most of our stay as again the building maintenance said there was an electricity problemApartment was well equipped with plates, glasses etcWater to the shower was not the hottest but that was okAC worked wellWe were also able to get a slightly later check out time which was great & much appreciated

It was a decent place to stay for the price until the a/c stopped working for three days and nights

We thought the property was nice enough and had all we needed until the a/c stopped working with no sign of it being repaired. The only answer we could get is that ā€œthey were working on itā€. After three days and nights of no a/c and trying to sleep in a 30 degree room we chose to leave the property. The hosts were kind and refunded us for the remaining nights as well as 40% of the nights we didnā€™t have a/c. The pools are lovely, the area is nice (even though we like the South end of town), there are lots of restaurants in the area. If there hadnā€™t been a problem with the a/c we would have stayed. The other downfall is that the people across the hall were very loud, many people in and out of their room late at night having a party and tons of cigarette smoke coming under our door every day. When we brought it up to the people in the lobby, they only said the guests would have to pay an extra cleaning fee. They did nothing to stop the smoking even though there is supposed to be no smoking in the building.

Great place to stay

Overall it was a great place to stay! They provided an abundance of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with tools. The only criticism I have is the cushions on the patio were moldy so you couldnā€™t sit on the outdoor furniture.

Great Condo

My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at the condo. The place was perfect for us two. Everything was walking distance from all the attractions. The property manager was very polite, very responsive and in minutes! Overall, great spot and very professional property manager. Thank you. I will definitely come back and book the same spot.

Good, but need some improvements

Two items that I would like to have been different, first is the couch. It is a pullout bed, and was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Secondly, the lack of english speaking TV stations. I've been traveling to the Cancun area for 20+ years and each place I've stayed had at least some news stations from the USA. I know these stations are available because the bar/restaurant across the street had them. The unit was clean, and a good location, but unless these two items change, I will seek another venue.

Great experience

Great location ā€¦ just steps away from the noisier area of 5th ave . Also just steps away from the more authentic quieter end of 5 th ave ā€¦ And just steps away from the beach and grocery store . A wonderful stay . Our only hiccup was the virtual key check in ā€¦ didnā€™t work for us .lucky we were able to contact the local management , as it was late at night .

Excellent Stay at Jeff's Place in Playa

Jeff's condo was exactly as described and more. Very cozy and in a great area. The famous 5th avenue was a short walk. Enjoyed coffee and music every morning on the balcony which my wife and I love to do. Comfortable bed and excellent rainbow shower. Water temperature never fluctuates so morning or evening showers are truly enjoyable. Rooftop pools and bar are incredible. Amazing views !!! Appreciated the jugs of water Jeff provided in the condo. Cookware was sufficient for us to make breakfast every morning. Jeff was very responsive to any questions or issues that popped up. Highly recommend his unit and would stay there again in a heartbeat. For those with safety issues or concerns - the police are seen everywhere in that area multiple times per day. There was never one second of concern for personal safety - and we walked everywhere. Tourism is their life blood, so safety is a major focus, and it is very apparent. Had an excellent trip and really hated to leave.

Very high class professional apt

The apt was gorgeous and perfect location for a short jaunt everyday. The beach was 1.5 American blocks away, very close. We walked to other beach clubs daily. 5th Ave was great! Delicious food and 2 blocks away. Will def return. Also, pools are beautiful and Israel, the bartender, was very fun. High class and really enjoyed. Also, a very big apartment!

Great condo

Great condo for a couple. Great location. 3 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the nicer Cocoa Beach. Open, lots of space. All windows. Can see the sun rise and the morning sun comes straight in and actually forces you to turn on the AC pretty early! Can see the sea from the condo, although just barely. One floor higher would be a better view but probably twice the price! Large balcony to sit out on. Overlooks a relatively quiet street. The side windows face the entranceway to the condo building that we thought might be an issue but except for hearing the odd talking as people came and went, was not a problem. You are about a 5 minute walk to the 5th Avenue pedestrian and tourist street with action aplenty (bars and restaurants) but far enough away the you donā€™t hear it. There are a couple of clubs between the condo building and the beach that had loud music until 2 or 3 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights so pack earplugs. The condo had a full kitchen with cutlery and pots and pans but no basics like spices, not even salt and pepper, so be warned that if you want to save some money by cooking, you must bring EVERYTHING. The 3 rooftop pools were a big part of our enjoyment of the place. Multiple seating areas including full sun to full shade at all times of the day. One pool is heated although we found it getting cooler as the week went on. I never asked about why that was happening. Overall, a great place to stay in Playa Del Carmen.

This is a nice unit, bed is comfortable, A/C works great, internet service is a little weak. The condo is close enough to Fifth Ave to easily walk to without the noise factor of being on Fifth. Roof top pools are well maintained. For those of us that do not like to eat out every night, a BBQ would be nice. Great stay!!

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for any action close to 5th Avenue. It had great amenities, air conditioning, parking and much more. The host was very responsive and everything was so easy. The walls are a bit thin facing the street, but you can't tell if you use shot noise on your phone. šŸ˜‰ The noise is only on the weekends. The ONLY suggestion I would make is to put a lighter comforter on the bed. That's it! Everything was perfect!

Playa Vacation

The apartment/condo was great. Very modern, clean, had all the amenities, close to the beach and restaurants. I will stay again and recommend this property for anyone staying in Playa de Carmen. We never used the sleeper sofa but it look comfortable. My only issue was the Bluetooth front door lock. The door would not connect with my phone app till the 5 Star property management team remote linked it. Once linked, it worked great. Highly recommend this property.

Great location. One block from the beach and beach clubs

Overall my stay was very good, pretty much what I was looking forward to, but I disliked the electronic key via cell phone. I would prefer an electronic card key. WiFi connection can have problems causing delays and frustrations to open and lock the door.
