TOP OF THE WORLD – Villas Arqueológicas Playacar Fase 1

This place is the epitome of a Caribbean getaway! Nothing beats the view from this penthouse. A tastefully decorated balcony with wooden furniture and cacti located on top of the world, looking out to the sea and surrounding lush gardens! No traffic noise, no loud people - only the sound of the waves, the birds and the wind.

Once you absorbed the incredible view from this very chique balcony, which will become the meeting point of the apartment during tour stay, you walk into the very bright and open living room/ studio with a fully equipped kitchen whilst still enjoying an endless ocean view from every window or door you peak out of.

The living room has two comfy white 3 seaters accented with several handmade mexican pillows to allow máximum comfort while resting and looking out to the sea or watching a high definition movie. Be careful not to fall asleep on the sofá :) It's tempting.


If you are not in the resting mood yet because you need to check your emails as you couldn't quite yet disconnect from work, there is a cute wooden desk right next to the window with yet again, more ocean view! And just behind all of this is the kitchen! A kitchen so bright and well equipped, it gives you joy to start opening all the draws and boxes to discover just how well the owner prepared this space for joyful get-togethers while cooking and chatting away, most likely over a glass of wine or margarita! One does the cooking, the other prepares the drinks and the other takes care of the entertainment and chit chat.
Oh, have I mentioned yet that you do all of this with the ocean view right in front of you? Can't escape the caribbean beauty :)


Whenever you do need a bit of alone time or a rest from all the excitement, you can just withdraw to one of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own cute balcony with an ocean view, which is often enjoyed by the owner first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee and a mind full of plans for the day. The master bedroom has a King size bed and its own blue bathroom with a skylight just over the shower. Check out the pictures to see for yourself !

The second bedroom has 2 individual beds and also its own modern beige bathroom. Both bathrooms are fully equipped with towels, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, soap and toilet paper.


Additionally, the penthouse comes with internet, HD SKY, weber gas electric BBQ, coffee/ espresso/ cappuccino maker, all sorts of kitchen appliances such as blender, toaster, microwave, sharp cutting knives, different kind of glasses for a variety of drinks, plenty of dishes, pots and pans and more!


The surroundings of the penthouse are of no less importance. Lots of garden around the property, a shared pool, a shared tennis court and a one minute walk from the penthouse to the beach just crossing the garden.


After having discovered the penthouse, the pool, the beach and the garden, you leave the gated community and discover one or many of the following:

5th Avenue - this is what everyone talks about when they talk about shopping and dining in Playa del Carmen. It's a 5 min walk from your apartment and is just the place to go to in the evening, after a day at the beach, to enjoy shopping and picking a random restaurant.
