The owner met me in the parking lot to greet me, and this morning as I left came out to say goodbye. What a great place. I know that when returning to this area I will be there time and time again."

"Nice, quiet and comfortable place close to things we wanted to see. A/C worked great. Views on the river are beautiful. We slept well. As others have mentioned, there are inside stairs which have slightly shallow steps. If you have normal mobility & strength you will be okay. Just something to note. We were fine with the stairs. Host is responsive and helpful. Would stay again and recommend. "

If you have trouble with stairs I'd look elsewhere also no full kitchen and small refrigerator. That being said this is a 5 star place without question. "My wife and I spent one night in Villa Verde. The hostess, Eva, was gracious and kind. She obviously puts a lot of thought into what she does. The accommodations were comfortable and restful. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Eva even tried to poach eggs for us. We got to talk to her about her life for a little bit and would love to visit again. She is a true gem. "
