"It was our anniversarry so I was hoping for something special. I was told I was being upgraded for our anniversary. It felt like a downgrade. We were put in a row of Villas with all children and families. The dog next door howled every time the family left. We called and noone got back to us. No privacy. I purchased the romance package and the blanket ripped the first day! The best part of this property is the view and proximity to the water. We drove to lakes in the area and canoed."

"Damaged car. For the price we paid for the room, there should be cameras on the property. My Car was left damaged while parked on the provided parking. Front and back bumper aggressively scratched and mud / undercarriage plastic tabs broken."

"There was a delayed check-in time for my stay that had not been communicated prior to my arrival at the advertised check-in time. The change was manageable for me but it did cause an unexpected change in plans. Everything else was better than I'd expected and staff was amazing."

"The design of the suite was excellent especially the design of the second bathroom to accommodate the people using the fold out couch. The furnishings and the supplies in the kitchen were excellent. And I was glad that they made an allowance for recycling. We were disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for renovations. I understand that need to do the renovations in the summer season because there is still an outdoor pool to use. I was disappointed that they did not relay this...

"This was our second year staying at A Place at the beach and we love it, the indoor and outdoor pools are fabulous my granddaughters love the waterslide!! My only complaint was that they removed the playground hopefully they will replace it before our trip next year."
