The main interiors are dark wood, with original custom bannisters and similar craftsmanship, and the furnishings are period-correct. "Rick and Katy are straight forward to deal with, providing lots of insider information on out of the way experiences on The Big Island. The view from the common area where you can enjoy the healthy breakfast that Rick and Katy provide is peaceful. The veranda is a perfect place to watch the two goats playing in the yard.
