"Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. "

It's a good thing i wake up around 5am because there's a Brahma (seemed like it) rooster next door that helps with the wake up process, hehehe. No need to set your alarm on your phone. However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. "We arrived in Hawaii only to find our booking had gone out of business and forgot to remove their VRBO ad. But we found Paradise Palms available at the last minute. Sharon and Steve worked with us and VRBO to help us straighten everything out. And we spent 3 days in the area and it was beautiful. Every day was a new adventure. "

"Very cute large studio. Clean and had everything we needed, including kitchen appliances, bathroom essentials, sunscreen, towels, etc.. ac is a portable unit but worked very well! Also walkable to nearby restaurants/bars. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The property itself was clean and in a convenient location, but prospective guests should be aware that noise travels extremely easily throughout the building. We could clearly hear every footstep, running, and movement from the unit above us, especially early in the morning and late at night.The floor/ceiling construction appears to provide very little sound insulation, and the constant creaking and footsteps significantly impacted our ability to relax and sleep during our stay. "This place was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! We loved our very short stay so much. In fact, if we had to plan our big island trip all over again, we would have extended our stay at this beautiful gem tucked away in the jungle. How cool to be able to go from the front porch on a walk through steam vents, with information along the way about local flowers and plants.
