"We were a bit surprised to arrive and find the doors wide open, but I guess they were just letting in some cooler air! The place was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay! There were lots of amenities there if we had planned to go to the beach, but it was just a resting place for adventures around the island before we went on a cruise. The washer and dryer were nice to have, but the dryer was very loud!"

"A great deal and situated on Alicia drive south of the Kailua-Kona nightlife district. The place was clean and comfortable and very attractively priced. Definitely the Hawaiian Hale experience! The landlord was very nice and obviously invested in our having a pleasant stay. To access the unit younger to climb a stairwell - don't rent this unit if you are unable to handle stairwells or have small (mobile not babies!) children. Perfect for a couple! Classic Hawaiian experience but not the classic...

"We loved this place. The only down side was that the neighbors dogs were a bit irritating. Everything thing else was swell. The house and property were wonderful, well stocked and perfect for our kids to play and explore. The house, though small, fit us all well and was well stocked and comfy. We would stay here again for sure. "
