"Haven Riviera Cancun is a beautiful, well-maintained resort with spacious, comfortable, and very clean accommodations. The pools are large, with plenty of lounge chairs and attentive poolside service.
The restaurants are generally good, especially the Japanese and Mexican ones. The Italian and Mediterranean restaurants were just average.
The drinks, however, were disappointing and inconsistent, depending on the bartender. Most fruity cocktails were made with artificial-tasting, overly sweetened fruit purées instead of fresh fruit, which is surprising for a tropical destination like Mexico. That said, a special shout-out to Colunga, our favorite bartender, who made our experience much better!
Our biggest complaint was the constant noise. Loud music plays throughout the resort from morning until evening, and some guests bring their own speakers, especially around the circular pool bar. This makes it difficult to find a peaceful place to relax.
Overall, Haven is a beautiful resort with great amenities, but the drink quality and excessive noise take away from the relaxing experience we expected. Great for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere, but not ideal for anyone seeking peace and quiet."
