"I grew up in Rumson, so staying here on the river really brought me back in a good way! The location of the hotel is perfect, the condition of the hotel is great, and the views are incredible. Walkable to 2nd Jetty Seafood, another local gem. I had a special request and the staff accommodated me with a smile."

"First time here did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and helpful with walkable dining recommendations. The dining area at the hotel had good food and was very convenient as well. Beach chairs were a nice perk. The first visit impressed me and I will return. It’s nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops and the area seems safe and quiet at night too"

"We loved the Wave, we wished it had a kids play area. We were told it was no longer available although it shows it’s available online. Everything else was great, staff, food, drinks at the Bar. Super accessible to the beach, no issues getting in and out; staff had beach chairs and umbrellas ready at 8:45am! Overall we recommend it 100%! "

"O hotel é muito bem localizado próximo ao boardwalk de Long Beach. Entretanto, é um hotel muito antigo e o estado de conservação é médio. Eu reservei uma suíte. Um dos chuveiros não funcionou bem, daí usei o outro. Não há serviço de café da manhã. O que tem para vender na lojinha é bastante limitado, não havendo possibilidade de ter, por exemplo, pão, queijo, leite, etc. Os funcionários são atenciosos e nos auxiliaram a colocar as malas no quarto. O quarto estava limpo. Colchão em bom...

"Wow, what an amazing home! The 360 views from the rooftop deck are breathtaking. There are also numerous balconies to sit on to take it all in as well! The location is outstanding, easy to walk to restaurants and the water. Gerald is a wonderful host. He communicated extremely well and gave us lots of great suggestions. We will definitely by back! "
