"O hotel é muito bem localizado próximo ao boardwalk de Long Beach. Entretanto, é um hotel muito antigo e o estado de conservação é médio. Eu reservei uma suíte. Um dos chuveiros não funcionou bem, daí usei o outro. Não há serviço de café da manhã. O que tem para vender na lojinha é bastante limitado, não havendo possibilidade de ter, por exemplo, pão, queijo, leite, etc. Os funcionários são atenciosos e nos auxiliaram a colocar as malas no quarto. "I live in a nearby town and was hosting thanksgiving for 30 people. I needed a nice place for my mom, siblings and nieces to stay and this was perfect. Very comfortable rooms, bright, clean and big kitchen/dining/living room. Super close to the boardwalk for day-after thanksgiving excessive. Owner was extremely helpful, arranged to accommodate wary checkin and exceedingly commutative Would def recommend."

"Our family of eleven enjoyed a week long stay at Modern Retreat. It was a great space for 6 adults, 4 toddlers and an infant. The large kitchen was well appointed and lots of needed household items provided. We especially enjoyed the two covered balconies for our morning coffee and fresh air. "We booked September 1st to 30th. Host cancelled 1st, 2nd, and 3rd after we booked. Host refunded money, but not VRBO processing fees for her cancellation request! Check in time later than what was advertised. Apartment Not clean or modern! Furniture stained and dirty. Closet doors falling off. Shower hardware rusted and broken.
