"I mean for the price you get a bed and bathroom. Considering where the property is located, there is not that much around. However you do pay a premium price. I am sure in the 50s this might have been a rocking spot, however, it is highly overpriced even for high season. Could have found similar in the Placid area. "Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly."

"The room was very clean. It was right off the road so there was the noise of traffic. It also is right above the restaurant outdoor dining/bar area and it looks like there is live music there often so that may be unappealing for people looking for a quiet lake getaway. There is an excellent restaurant on site with beach front tables and a marina. It looks like it gets very busy there on weekends with boat traffic and tourists. "The Inn both inside and out is beautiful and well maintained. The bed is very comfortable as are the pillows which gave us a wonderful nights sleep. The interior spaces are beautifully appointed with warm comfortable furnishings and soothing colors.
