"My room # 219 had torn rugs, damaged furniture and the entryway door was stuck closed while using the keycard forcing me to kick the door open. The hallway rugs were filthy they needed to be shampooed cleaned. The motel is currently undergoing renovations the lobby had stacks of new mattresses and bed frames. The continental breakfast was adequate coffee, bagels, cream cheese, fruits bananas, apples and oranges, one type of yogurt."

"Unforgiving management. Refusing to accept cancellation due to inclement weather that cancelled local event. A midnight cancellation policy failed as people are usually asleep and uRoom never checked in. "

The room was not kept up as in the floor was very worn with large dirty gaps which is definitely not a housekeeping issue. "The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I liked the layout of their own overall & the bathroom. Staff were attentive & friendly. The floors in the room creek with every step both in the room and in the room above the room. You could easily hear people walking back-and-forth. The walls are rather thin, and I heard a lot of intimate moments, showers, toilet, flush, children, running back-and-forth. It was very hard to relax. After all of that, there was a charge for...

"Nice quirky old hotel. Has 3 floors but there are no elevators. Very steep stairs.The room did not have air conditioning (although other rooms apparently do) so thankfully it was cool enough outside to open the windows. They gave us a fan but we didn't use it. One window was missing the screen. The bathroom was passable but the door did not latch so it had to be held closed if we used the bathroom. Also no exhaust fan so taking a shower meant being in a fog afterward until the steam cleared out....
