"Staff might have been the kindest & most accommodating I’ve ever encountered by a hotel, and I’ve stayed at a variety of places including Westin, Four Seasons, the Marriott, & other boutique hotels but the valet, bell hops, & front desk staff were all super kind & accommodating. Super clean, public transportation right in front, walkable, comfy bed. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the TV in the room next to me was right against my headboard so I could hear the TV when I was trying to fall...

"Very historic. In great restored shape. I saw a documentary on this hotel as it a an important Portland landmark. Very was co nice and responsive. Room was in perfect high end shape and very responsive and effective climate control The restaurant severed breakfast and dinner. Top notch food and friendly polite wait staff. Prices were so low, it was hard to believe. "
