"The spiral staircase and full kitchen in the main house was unexpected! Along with full bathrooms in both the main house and the guest house. Temperature could be acclimated to be comfortable. It was crazy wonderful! It was like an adult adventure - we highly recommend it! . This is fantastic for a family or friend get-away. "

"The rental was comfortable, convenient, and met our expectations. The location made it convenient to get around, but was still away from the world enough that we got some excellent nighttime views and heard the frogs chirping at night. Only thing to note is that if you are movement challenged, this rental may not be for you - especially if you use a wheelchair or walker. The Mexican restaurant right down the street had a good breakfast - the chili verde was on point."

"This house is magical! So much space to spread out and enjoy time together or have some quiet time. Lovely backyard with fire pit. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving feast. Bill and Alex both responded quickly to communications and were very kind. We’ll definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our time in the Castle. We had 12 people and it worked great. Kitchen worked well, and we ate on the patio. The lake has been drained and that was disappointing. The lighting controls were confusing, and we never could figure out the AC. I’m sure that might have been user error. The house and plumbing fixtures are dated. We had to verify our payment as the management company said we had a large balance, thank goodness we had our email receipts. I’ve never had that happen before on...

"Host was great, house was very clean, location was very convenient. House has a unique layout that made it challenging for our group to hang out together as there are are really only two indoor common areas and one of those has four of the beds within it. Some appointments were also lacking, for example only 8 forks were provided."

Loved all the games & activities. Enjoyed the hot tube & fire pit as well. The castle theme & decor was very well detailed all the way down to the cute random mouse doors. The little play kitchen hidden under the stairs was a hit. Would definitely recommend. "
