"We stayed in Unit 3 over the Fourth of July weekend with a reservation for five guests. The property is located in a beautiful, peaceful area of Comal County, and we truly enjoyed the natural surroundings. Our check-in experience could have been smoother. The check-in instructions indicated that the entrance passcode would be sent at 3:00 p.m., the official check-in time, but we did not receive it until about 40 minutes later. "Terrible place, we will never come back! Room was completely dirty with hairs left from previous guests everywhere. Moreover they advertise they offer equitation activities and this is not true! We checked out one day before the end of the reservation because we cannot stay more there and they refused to refund. No comment!"

"Beautiful, rustic setting with excellent access to the trailheads right outside your doorstep. The only adjustment was the fact that the WiFi was only accessible near the commissary, which, interestingly... is kind of the point. That is to say, "to properly disconnect." One final note, the room had a musky aroma... so be sure to bring a candle or other things to mask the scent. Other than that, all good. I will return later this year and stay at The Lodge... so that should explain everything."
