We had a very strange experience when the owner knocked on our door saying that the younger dog wanted to "meet us". The owner referred to the younger dog as a puppy. "It was nice a nice cottage right in the heart of Salem. Close to everything... I work remotely normally and had to come to town to work in person and this cottage happen to be 2 mins away from my office which was a blessing! I was able to open all the windows and let the breeze into the house and enjoy the smell from all the flowers and trees stream into the house. The host really take good care of the land and the house itself. If we needed anything they were very responsive. I plan to rent...

"Knocked our socks off. Beautiful place, with animals in a green space and riverside hangouts on the Applegate. Lodgings next to the road, but that’s quiet at night and the river side is where you hang out. The host has built something special, and she’s on it all the time. She’s also more than tidy, so less is more, which some of us love. Don’t miss the tiny towns on the west, Applegate, Provolt, and Williams. They’re tiny but friendly."
