"It was a good basic room suitable for a night's stay."

"Very quiet location and slightly out of nearest town (Newent). The staff were very helpful and allowed me to use their electricity to charge my EV (I reimbursed them at their rates). Room was basic and clean. Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Real milk in the fridge."

"Arrived to be given a key and parking disc , friendly but nobody overnight at a reception, big room but found it very noisy with the seagulls and road noise as single glazed windows , tap wobbly and no waste cover in shower , should have unplugged the fridge as noisy at night on and off , no plug point near the dressing table so couldn’t see when drying hair , did smell like a greasy spoon !!!"

"The lodging here was so beautiful, small style cabins that are modern with a great view and a small garden out back. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The restaurant next to the lodging was amazing, staff were so nice and helpful and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back."

"The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful"

"Upon arrival everything appeared ok however after closer inspection there was a lot of dust around the mirrors and on the fan, it was particularly noticeable under the settee when reclined. There was a tissue or baby wipe behind the glass in the fire in the lounge. The main bathroom light constantly flickered and there was a rusty metal shelving unit in both bathrooms.
