We understand that these are old buildings in central London, however, the furnishings were all broken, dirty, and needed to be replaced. "It’s a great and lively location in Camden Town, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Conveniently, there’s a grocery store right next door. The host is wonderful and communicative. Inside the home, although it’s quite small, it was sufficient for one person and very clean, which I greatly appreciated. "The apartment was well suited for the 3 of us. We did have a little trouble finding it the first go round as we thought it was a much shorter walk from the train station. (May have been our faulty navigational skills.) The only thing that might be a real issue for some people (not us) the apartment is really on the 2nd floor, up a flight of narrow steps. "This was a ground floor apartment with very little ventilation as there was only a small window in the kitchen. It was supplied with 1 fan for a 2 story flat. In the heat wave that Europe was experiencing it was not comfortable or I felt healthy to try to stay and checked into a hotel immediately. I was given no refund or offer of a portable a/c unit and told it was not a hotel."
