"Absolutely amazing stay for two nights. Host/owner is incredibly kind and helpful- even offered some honey/lemon for my sore throat! I stayed in the beautiful, clean room with the lovely, clean private bathroom with a fantastic tub. The private bathroom was located down a private hallway, which is so much nicer than having to go to/from it amongst other guests. "This was a fantastic find for an overnight stay on our way to Glasgow, wish we could have stayed longer and explored the lake and surrounding areas. The bar and restaurant were very good and the couple who were managing the pub at the time of our stay were excellent hosts. There is plenty of parking and this very old pub has very modern rooms. Would defiantly recommend and stay again. "

Everything has been well thought out and the decor works seamlessly from reception to lounge, conservatory. Restaurant, corridors , landings and bedroom. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels and bedding. Lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly, pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent each breakfast and evening meal.
