Completely furnished, this three bedroom, three and one-half bath, multi-level villa has panoramic views from all rooms and palapa terraces. The private beach in a pristine location is ideal for snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and swimming.

The gourmet kitchen comes complete with marble counter tops and culinary cookware. The dining area includes a spectacular granite table for fine dining. Both the romantic front palapa and ocean side palapa are available for dining. All three bedrooms are air-conditioned. All beds are Sealy Posturpedic mattresses with all cotton sheets. Custom made furniture, draperies, and bedspreads. All bedrooms are furnished with lock boxes large enough to accommodate laptops, large purses, cameras etc. Just pack your own padlock or purchase a lock from Yobany for $5.00

Outdoor palapa dining areas and second floor sundeck are ideal for sunbathing or stargazing, enjoy gentle sea breezes, and gaze at the enchanting turquoise waters below. Kayaks, life jackets, and snorkel equipment provided at no charge. Our bay is quiet with calm waves due to the nearby reef. Perfecting for snorkeling and exploration. YES - we have stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Wide-range WiFi from a high-speed fiberoptic Internet system, smart TV with satellite/Internet channels, DVD, books, binoculars, life jackets and snorkel equipment provided. Close to numerous recreational activities and excursions.

COOKING SERVICE - Provided Mon. thru Sat. breakfast and dinner with advance notice. You just pay for the groceries and a small shopping fee. Our staff prepares your breakfast and dinner buffet style right in the villa! Daily maid service provided, on-site caretaker couple and other local assistance provided. Perfect in every way!

Everything from check in to meals were amazing! Definitely get the enchiladas! Luis was so sweet and super helpful the entire time. Beds were very comfortable. No issues at all!

Good Beach Stay near Tulum

We had a great experience at this home. Conveniently located in an area that is quiet but has walkable options for a meal at nearby small hotels. Sandy beach at the property is very good, but it is rocky at the waterline -- so it isn't good for wading or playing in the water without using a kayak to go 100M off shore. Everything was in fine condition: working A/C in the bedrooms, kitchen appliances and layout is good, bathrooms/showers are nice, WiFi. No A/C in living area, but fans and open windows kept area comfortable during our January visit.

Best House in Tulum!

We just got back from our stay at Casa Playa Azul and are sad to not be waking up to fresh fruit platters, gorgeous ocean views, and a sparkling clean house that we didnā€™t have to clean. I cannot say enough nice things about the house, the staff, the location, the meals, the beach or the amenities to truly do the place justice. This is my second time booking with Frank (my girls group had booked Casa Soledad in 2022) and the experience was the same so we knew how great it would be. Both properties are just stunning and I canā€™t say if I like one better than the other, though Soleada has one extra bedroom and bathroom. Either way, you will have a great time at Tankah Shores!

Best kept secret

This is my second time staying here and it is truly a magical place. There was 5 girls and we had plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable and love having the privacy of the 2 upstairs rooms. Our chef was amazing and cared for us the whole week. It feels like you have your own private beach. I canā€™t wait to go back!

This place is just a dream!

What to sayā€¦ the villa is just perfect! We had a wonderful time at the beach, snorkelling just out in the bay, kayakingā€¦ we all loved it and we would have never left. Better than we could have imagined!

Our family stayed at the Casa Playa Azul the first week of June, we had such a good time, we want to go back! We were warmly welcomed by the staff upon our arrival and they took excellent care of us during our stay, The house was more spacious than the pictures show. The house and surrounding grounds were well cared for. The menu options were delicious, the views and the ocean breeze were wonderful. The directions we were given to get to the house were clear and easy to follow. They helped make our drive from Cancun pretty simple. We enjoyed the privacy of having our own beach house for the week. Our family spent many hours in the pool, relaxing in the hammocks, and exploring the bay on the kayaks and paddle boards. This was a highlight of our trip. Our family of six was never bored during the week here. There is so much to do, we didn't feel a need to leave the house much. This location is close to the highway and just a few minutes to Tulum, Tulum Ruins, and other prominent areas. Xcaret and other attractions are within about 30 minutes. Many thanks to Yobani, Edith, Jose Luis, Odalis, and Gracie for their hospitality and care! We hope to return to this wonderful place for another visit someday!

Casa Playa Azul Wedding Retreat

This property has everything our family needed during our stay to celebrate the wedding festivities in Tulum. Luis and the housekeeping/cooking team were welcoming and helpful from arrival to departure. The meals were delicious and grocery service was seamless. Being on the beach with the ocean breeze and having the pool to lounge in was the best. Wouldnā€™t stay anywhere else in Tulum. Gracias!

Paradise In Tulum

The house, the beach, the views - all stunning. My husband is a builder and kept admiring the beautiful construction of the house. He kept saying "They had a vision and it all works so well." We loved the separate spaces for the bedrooms, the ensuite bathrooms, and the flow of the common spaces. We moved from beautiful space to beautiful space - the dining room, the living room, the outdoor dining areas, the pool, the beach. Every day we took out the kayaks and paddled and snorkeled out on the reef where we saw amazing fish. We did not snorkel in the lagoon (wish we had,) but we had lots of water time. Lali and Grace made delicious food for us. Breakfast with Lali. Dinner with Grace. It was wonderful to spend the day in the sea and sun, and come in to a lovely dinner. Jose Luis was always available to answer questions with his warm and smiling presence. We visited two Mayan sites, floated the Mayan canal in Sian Ka'an. Mostly, we just enjoyed this very special place. We found this place through friends who have stayed there three times. We hope we will do that as well. The memory will sustain us through the winter.

Amazing Villa

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazing and attended to our every need. Our favorite experience was the Mayan Cooking class. The place was comfortable and kept spotless. There are nice places to eat and grab a drink close by. We really enjoyed Casa Cenote Restaurant. We would definitely recommend for a relaxing family vacation. They exceeded our expectations and the pictures didn't do it justice.

Can't wait to go back! Perfect rest for our family

Our stay at Casa Playa Azul was exactly what we needed. A comfortable home, a beautiful setting and plenty to do without going anywhere. We travelled with our 5 children ages 16-20 and they all found what they needed in this restful, engaging location. We found them at the pool and beach in the sun, curled with books in the hammocks, and out to sea on paddle boards. Each day we made a study of lizards, birds, fish, crabs, agouti, coati, raccoons, the cenote crocodile and the neighborhood's cats. It was an amazing location for a naturalist! We highly recommend a quick walk to the cenote at sunset to see many species of birds fly in to roost, or just after dark to shine a light on Pancho, the cenote crocodile as he soaks in the clear, shallow water near the lane. An Osprey kept frequent watch from our coconut tree. Luis, Odalis, Edith and Gracie did a wonderful job caring for the property, sharing information and making truly delicious meals. We found everything we needed, including games, puzzles, movies, books, paddle boards, kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Those who paddled out to the reef enjoyed seeing rays in the water, while snorkeling close to the house and the nearby piers brought huge schools of fish (watch where the pelicans and terns fish to experience this). It was an incredible get away for our family, and we all agree it is a destination of choice for the future. With thanks, Juan and Jennie Morris and family

Amazing house on the beach

Even better than it appears online! Nice beach with snorkeling and kayaking right outside the house. We were able to easily swim to the reef with provided lifejackets and snorkel gear. The staff was lovely and dinners delicious. What a great way to spend a week with friends!

We love it here!

We will never stay anywhere else. We have stayed here twice with our whole family and my mom stays here very time she travels to Mexico. The house is comfortable and beachy, location is central and convenient, but mainly we stay because we love Yobany, Edith, Luis and the rest of the people who work there. Also, donā€™t spend money on eating out - the food at the house is better than any restaurant!!

This property is perfect for adult couples or family with older children. There are 3 separate bedrooms w/en suite bathrooms, each with phenomenal views! Staff is amazing, zero complaints!
