"This is a fabulous bouquet hotel just off the main street in downtown Nelson. A lot of character and charm. We loved staying here. It felt more like a home than a hotel. Staff were super friendly, and the room was well stocked. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!"

"We had one night stay at Sentinel. We were looking for secluded and quiet area for our couple getaway. The property was clean and breakfast was awesome. Only feedback is that owners live on the property and always there in the main kitchen and coffee room which kind of made the whole experience little bit wierd. They were all nice and welcoming though."

"We heeded all the warnings - if noisy night life might bother you, request a "quieter" room - so we did. We got an excellent room on the top floor, very spacious. All the staff we dealt with where friendly & helpful. We had 2 dinners, one in the more casual restaurant, one in the more formal library - the food was all excellent. The lamb was perfect, as was "Jose's Halibut" - very imaginative plate, everything worked! Excellent value as accommodation and for dining!"

"Our stay was excellent! We were in the King Suite which was super comfortable. Having the kitchenette was convenient making it easy to prepare some of our own meals. The hotel is nicely furnished with lots of modern fixtures and furnishings. They are also pet friendly so bringing our dog was a non issue.
