"My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was how the bathroom was laid out. You have to get into the shower to turn it on, and outside of the shower the towel bar is placed higher than most I have encountered. Also I am not a fan of bowl sinks. However - the rest of the room was very nicely planned , and very clean. I had not been in years, and it was nice to see the property restored so well. I would definitely come back. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. "

"So easy to travel to and stay at while we are in the ADK. We were able to go for a walk, fly fish and relax. We are regular guests at the Hungry Trout and love the atmosphere and the changes & updates to this property that occur each time we return.
