"Stayed at the Overlook Lodge in Bear Mountain and it was a really nice experience. The lodge has a cozy, rustic feel with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and it’s very peaceful compared to the busier parts of Bear Mountain. It feels like a getaway spot where you can actually relax."

"The host was very accommodating. Check in and check out process was very smooth. The home is beautiful, cozy and filled with many household items and games! The rooms were comfortable and spacious! Love the outdoor set up in the back and the front! We will certainly be visiting again and there is no other place we would want to stay! "

"Celebrated my son’s HS graduation with my father-in-law along for the adventure, Joe’s townhouse is super convenient to Thayer Gate and eating establishments along Main St. Grill worked well and the beds made for sound slumber. For mixed company an extra half bath might be desired, but 3 guys who know each other well managed just fine. The basement washer & dryer are top of line."

"A second stay at this home. The location truly can't be beat at this cozy historic home. The home has lots of charm from the wood floors, to the covered front porch, to the nice backyard. Restaurants and Pubs are a quick walk, a wine store is a few paces away for that relaxing end-of-night glass.
