"The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner...

"We stayed at this home for our child's graduation from Virginia Tech in 2025. The house was a great location in Radford close to many restaurants and Radford University. It was an easy 20-25 minute drive to Blacksburg. With three bedrooms and three and a half baths, it was a perfect size for all of the relatives we had with us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The family room and kitchen had seating for all of us. This was an economical and comfortable alternative to more expensive hotels...
