"This was a great secluded cabin to spend the weekend! It was an a short, scenic drive to the AT trailhead to hike to McAfee Knob, which was just beautiful! We even passed some thru hikers on the way back! It’s about 30 minutes to Roanoke where we got dinner and walked around. It’s a cute little town. There’s a great store there called Mast General Store that I got lost in because they have everything! The house itself is clean and was equipped for what we needed. They supplied a keurig coffee...

"This SML place is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, or simply relaxing on the dock. The stairs lead to the water, and the kayaks are already there. The two docks allow one kid to fish while the other kayaks. There’s a fire pit, hot tub, and gas grill, all easy to use. Note that the downstairs area is inaccessible from the main living area. Ideal for older kids or adults, but not for young kids alone. The clean house and property provided everything we needed. A nearby grocery store...
