"This secluded farmhouse nestled in the valley below Shenandoah National Park was the perfect spot for a last minute getaway.Our dogs loved the expansive yard and we loved sitting on the back porch to take in the sights and sounds of the National Park.The house is 15 minutes from Luray in one direction and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the National Park in the other.The house itself is as stunning as it looks in the pictures and the hosts were very communicative. We hope to make it back soon!"

"We fell in love with The Mill House at Ragged Ridge from the listing on line. In person, the house did NOT disappoint! Beautifully renovated but maintaining that old farmhouse charm while offering modern amenities at the same time. The bedrooms were comfortable and the main living spaces were well-appointed and easy to use. Our host, Liz, was very helpful during our stay and answered questions we had very promptly. "The home is beautiful and much bigger on the inside than the pictures showed. 3 of us stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and basically used half the house because it's so spacious. The views are very pretty. We were on motorcycles for the weekend and came up the first, unpaved service entrance as that is where the GPS told us to turn. If you are on motorcycles, DO NOT go up this entrance! Go to the entrance with the long driveway that has a fence on both sides as it is fully paved all...

"Nice, peaceful farmhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to vineyards and quaint villages with great restaurants, however the best thing about it is its proximity to the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. If you're planning to do that hike, this home is just a short walk to the trailhead so you won't have to worry about the parking issues, and after the hike, the hot tub on the home's deck is heavenly! Wonderful place for a wonderful get away!"
