"The Empress is in/near a very nice/cool/fun section of Main St. Good food. Solid galleries. At least two very interesting antique shops. Wonderful ice cream shop. The Community Bakery is very good for pastries, coffee, breakfast or lunch. At the Empress James is a perfect host and took care of everything we needed. We would stay again if our travels take us back to Little Rock."

The unit was quite clean when we arrived and stocked with a number of small features that most don’t think to include, but are super nice to have (like bug spray to use in the beautiful backyard), and super comfortable beds and living room lounge furniture. "The whole key process was simple. The room was great. The stairs were really steep. Railing is really low so nothing to hold on to as you walk down the stairs. Other than that, it was a nice stay."

"We booked this hotel for a baseball tournament with boys who were so excited about the pool. We go downstairs to see a sign that said pool is closed until summer 2026. It’s June 7 and upper 90s temps. There was no notification on the site that the pool was closed or we would not have booked there. The elevator was broke and we were on the 4th floor, so had to load everything up and down 4 floors of stairs. The hallway temp was set on 81… again… it’s 90s outside and had played baseball all...
