Come and stay in our stunning Moon and Sun themed Mayan Penthouse, nestled in the jungle of Tulum’s exclusive Aldea Zama neighbourhood. Casa Luna del Sol has been beautifully crafted with native Tulum stone feature walls in the living room and each bedroom, bringing a feel of Mayan history to the condo. A mix of native hard wood and modern furnishings, LED lighting and a fun Moon and Sun theme throughout this private and spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, air conditioned Penthouse condo will make checking out difficult! Relax and roam in over 3300 Sq. Ft. of gorgeous indoor and outdoor living space. Five private outdoor spaces, including a rooftop garden sky terrace, with private plunge pool. The ENTIRE 3rd and 4th floors are exclusive to the unit and that means no neighbours walking by your door or windows. The complex also has a large river-like communal pool, surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden, a bridge and a shallow end for children. Casa Luna del Sol is situated less than 5 minutes from the famed sugar sand beaches of Tulum and the bustling town centre by car. Or, use our 2 included bikes and ride to town or the beach in about 15 minutes on a dedicated, safe paved bike path. The living room has a large comfy leather sectional sofa and relaxing mood lighting for evenings to help you unwind after a busy day of exploring. Hook up to our Bluetooth LG XBOOM 360 Speaker to complete the mood with music or turn on the 70” Samsung smart TV with surround sound and catch up on some movies. Open the large (screened) patio doors off the living room to enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze and open the space to the outdoors. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials and lots of space on the granite countertops for food prep. Bosch quality oven and cook-top. Microwave and all the expected small appliances you may need. The dining table inside seats 4. We have a dedicated work space for those who may need to work remotely. It includes a roomy desk, with a 27” Samsung curved monitor, bluetooth keyboard and mouse for your use. All 3 bedrooms have smart TV’s, private bathrooms, blackout curtains and are tastefully furnished. Master has a King bed and shares the terrace off the living room. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have Queen’s and their own small private terraces with a chair and table to relax before bed.

The main living area opens to a large L shaped terrace. It includes a large covered dining area that seats 8 comfortably and includes a hammock. The other side has a cozy private feel, surrounded with beautiful foliage it’s perfect to enjoy the morning sun. 4 comfy lounge chairs beg you to work on your tan or sink into the ultra comfortable swing chair with your morning coffee.

You will be spending a lot of time on the rooftop garden sky terrace! With beautiful lush tropical plants and a sweet ocean breeze, this space can be enjoyed day and night. We commissioned a very talented local artist to paint the mural of the Mayan Moon Goddess and Sun God, bringing the Moon and Sun theme up to the rooftop. This sets the mood for this incredible space. Multiple areas to relax, including a large palapa with lots of seating for dining or relaxing and LED lighting for the evening. Comfy patio furniture sits under a large LED lit umbrella in the corner and more lounge chairs to stretch out on after a dip in the plunge pool. It’s ideal for cooling off during the day or relaxing with a drink in the evening. You can also get your BBQ on if you don’t feel like dining out. We have a nice sized BBQ and lots of counter space for your food prep and also a sink for washing up. After dinner, bring up the telescope and do some moon/star gazing and toast some marshmallows for s’mores over the gas powered fire table!

THE AREA:
There are countless great places to eat on the beach or in the town of Tulum. The Chedraui grocery superstore is located a convenient 2 minute drive away. There are also coffee shops, a boutique market and deli and restaurants just down our block! Tulum is also an awesome jumping off point to visit a vast array of world class theme parks, underground rivers, cenotes and stunning archeological sites. The famed Tulum ruins are less than 5 minutes away by car or taxi and there’s even a swimmable cenote local to Aldea Zama that’s literally just down the road.

GUEST ACCESS:
The condo is not accessible by wheelchair and may be difficult for people with mobility issues. The condo is only accessible by stairs and does not have an elevator.

**Please note that there is a RING DOORBELL installed at the front door of the condo.**

Casa Luna del Sol Tulum is our tropical home away from home. We purchased this property in the summer of 2022 for our enjoyment and future retirement and not as a business. Since retirement is still a ways off yet, we welcome you to share our gorgeous and newly renovated home with us!
