"The listing indicated pets were welcome and we were able to bring our 13 year old dog, who loves traveling with my husband and I. There was some initial confusion after we booked the Schoolhouse, saying pets are prohibited. Through contact with the host, it was cleared up pretty quickly. "Sweet upstairs lodging for a night as we were in the area for a grandchild's graduation. The countryside is just beautiful! A slight damp odor to the garage (the bedroom is above) but no problem once upstairs. Temperature easily adjustable, bed very comfy. Bose radio nice! It was perfect for our visit and the host very accommodating."

"It was fun being in the center of town! We walked to coffee shops, restaurants and shops. The Greenway was a pleasant way to wind down the day…with a pleasant walk along the creek. The house is only a few miles from Luray Caverns which we visited one afternoon. It is also a short drive to Shenandoah National Park.
