Perched on its own private floor, the Parton Suite is a cozy, tucked-away hideout perfect for guests seeking both charm and privacy. With its slanted attic-style walls and soft carpeting, the room has a warm, inviting feel. Tall guests, take note—mind your head near the sides of the room, but enjoy a spacious 9-foot ceiling in the center for full comfort. The suite features two double beds, ideal for families or friends traveling together. A word of caution: access to this suite is via steep stairs, adding to its secluded treehouse-like appeal.

Bikes Available: Guests are welcome to use the Inn’s complimentary bicycles—perfect for exploring the charm of downtown Luray or taking a leisurely ride along the nearby Luray Greenway, a scenic walking and biking trail that runs along Hawksbill Creek. Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to grab one early and enjoy the ride!

Adults Only: The Legacy Inn is an adults-only escape designed for rest, romance, and relaxation. Whether you’re planning a peaceful getaway, a romantic weekend, or a special celebration, our 7-suite inn offers a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere tailored for grown-up comfort. With no children on-site, guests can fully unwind—whether that means sipping coffee on the porch swing, strolling to downtown Luray, or enjoying a serene evening under the stars.

Common Areas: The Inn features several welcoming common areas, including a cozy sitting room with a fireplace. As guests at the Inn, you’ll be sharing the property with other visitors who are also enjoying their stay. While each suite or room offers private accommodations, the grounds, outdoor spaces, and common areas may be used by multiple guests. We kindly ask everyone to be respectful of quiet hours, shared amenities, and each other’s privacy. This shared environment is part of what makes the Inn such a warm and welcoming place — a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the peaceful setting together.

Please note: The Inn is heated and cooled using mini split systems, which are energy-efficient and help us maintain comfort without altering the structure of our historic building. The mini split in the shared guest space is set to 70°F for your comfort. If the area feels too warm or too cool, you're welcome to turn off the unit using the remote; however, we kindly ask that you return it to 70°F or turn it back on when you leave the space. Due to the limitations of a historic property, we also recommend bringing a personal fan for added comfort during the warmer months.
