Located on the second floor of The Legacy Inn, this elegant suite features a comfortable queen-size bed dressed in soft linens, with vintage nightstands and floral accents that evoke the charm of an English garden.



The room is bathed in natural light from two large windows that overlook the lush backyard gardens and towering trees. Guests often wake to the soft sounds of birdsong and glimpses of cardinals, blue jays, and finches flitting about. The soft green and cream color palette brings the outdoors in, while antique furnishings—including a delicate writing desk and a tufted armchair—add a timeless touch.



The Eden Suite also includes a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, pedestal sink, and vintage-inspired tilework. Thoughtful touches like plush towels and eco-friendly toiletries, enhance the comfort and ambiance. Bikes Available: Guests are welcome to use the Inn’s complimentary bicycles—perfect for exploring the charm of downtown Luray or taking a leisurely ride along the nearby Luray Greenway, a scenic walking and biking trail that runs along Hawksbill Creek. Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to grab one early and enjoy the ride!



Adults Only: The Legacy Inn is an adults-only escape designed for rest, romance, and relaxation. Whether you’re planning a peaceful getaway, a romantic weekend, or a special celebration, our 7-suite inn offers a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere tailored for grown-up comfort. With no children on-site, guests can fully unwind—whether that means sipping coffee on the porch swing, strolling to downtown Luray, or enjoying a serene evening under the stars.



Common Areas: The Inn features several welcoming common areas, including a cozy sitting room with a fireplace. As guests at the Inn, you’ll be sharing the property with other visitors who are also enjoying their stay. While each suite or room offers private accommodations, the grounds, outdoor spaces, and common areas may be used by multiple guests. We kindly ask everyone to be respectful of quiet hours, shared amenities, and each other’s privacy. This shared environment is part of what makes the Inn such a warm and welcoming place — a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the peaceful setting together.

Please note: The Inn is heated and cooled using mini split systems, which are energy-efficient and help us maintain comfort without altering the structure of our historic building. The mini split in the shared guest space is set to 70°F for your comfort. If the area feels too warm or too cool, you're welcome to turn off the unit using the remote; however, we kindly ask that you return it to 70°F or turn it back on when you leave the space. Due to the limitations of a historic property, we also recommend bringing a personal fan for added comfort during the warmer months.
