"Arrived to a dirty unit with weed paraphernalia left out from the previous guest. Instead of handling it before check-in, the host interrupted our stay mid-trip to re-clean completely disrupting our plans. Unacceptable on both counts. Would not return."

"The space inside, the decor and the ability to cook, has just the right cookware. Loved having extra k cups, or coffee for a whole pot. The toilet bowls didn't appear clean and one of the side tables in the master bedroom had a cup ring on it, not wiped. also, the remote for the bedroom has to have the small one from living to work. I would stay again though despite those issues!"

"We had a great experience at Swanky Retreat. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. The location is next to train tracks, but it wasn't an issue for us because we were awake so it didn't disturb us. Host was very responsive. Location is also close to some really good restaurants just a couple of blocks away."

"This has to be the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. It was delightfully clean!! Location is fantastic. Parking easy. A block away is the start of the river walk. It is surrounded by historic homes to stroll through and easy access from the highway. The downtown area is just a few blocks away. Comfortable bed and a cozy clean living room. Everything you need with some extras like snacks and water, bedside multi-chargers. Coffee set up great and nothing that you questioned how old it is....

"What a great place at the beach!! Everything you need for a long or quick getaway. My daughter and I came for a college visit and some beach time. We got one good beach day and the other days were cold and rainy so we hit up the Wilmington rock climbing gym for the day. Beach access is super close and the place is wonderful as well as beach chairs, umbrella and a wagon to haul you stuff. Can’t recommend this place enough. "
