"The staff were incredible and service was impeccable. It was nice to see that the front desk agent and service staff was in sync in taking care of the guest.This is now become my go to place on my next visit in January 2027."

"O lugar é lindo, parece um filme. Os funcionários simpáticos. Porém, obviamente é um castelo muito antigo e alguns cômodos tem um cheiro forte. A limpeza do quarto também não era boa. O café da manhã é bom, porém o buffet é colocado numa sala muito antiga com tudo aberto sem tampa."

"Great modern and well maintained hotel. Just mentioning in case the hotel staff read this. Only negative was the tray with kettle and tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc. was placed in a shelf without a power point. It was strange to have to lift the large tray and move it to the desk next to the power point. I relocated the hotel directory to a higher shelf."

"O hotel possui uma bela infra-estrutura. Porém deixa a desejar na qualidade dos quartos. Móveis antigos, banheiros com aparência de sujos e bem antigos. Para quem vai utilizar as dependências do hotel, vale a pena. Para quem quer conforto no próprio quarto, nao recomendo. Até a televisão parece ter sido uma das primeiras tvs LCDs lançadas (sim LCD e nao led). Para um hotel da rede Mercure o quarto deixa muito a desejar. Nada a reclamar da piscina, spa e outros. Restaurante muito bom também! "

"Everything was perfect. Lovely room which was immaculately clean and well presented. Stephen and Neil were perfect hosts and clearly work really hard to ensure their guests have a lovely stay. Great location for everything in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!"

"A surprisingly nice location looking over Seaburn beach with an array of nearby eateries and bars. A few issues that were disappointing were that firstly the leisure facilities were all closed for renovations during our stay. This wasn’t notified on the booking site. It was part of our reason for booking so disappointed to be told only on arrival. Secondly the price was hiked from any other Saturday evening by 250%, as the great north run was taking part on the day of our departure. An...
