"Having recently stayed at Langley Castle, I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time. My wife and I travel extensively, and it is rare that you find somewhere where you immediately 'feel at home'. This is largely due to the genuine and warm hospitality shown by all of the staff throughout our stay. "The hotel is extremely dated. Note that there is a large annex, so if you are in a “garden” room, you are not staying in the castle, it is an outdated 1980s annex. The bathroom had a sink that had been broken and poorly glued back together and a very dirty fan. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and could have used a mattress topper.
