The property sits in a beautiful spot on the water! Everything is as listed! Michelle is a wonderful host and has thought of every detail to make your stay memorable. The kitchen has everything you need to make any kind of meal. The beds are so comfortable and my kids loved the little tent area where they slept. We would definitely stay again!

This is our annual Family get away, has been for many years now. It truly is our Happy place A hidden gem. Michelle and Dan are definitely Superhosts, and your everyday needs are all met and then some. From outdoor games, water vessels/ kayaks etc, cooking essentials and comforts of home, privacy and beach access . We absolutely Love it here . Breathtaking views as well . Highly recommended

Top VRBO experience

We have stayed at vacation rentals all over the world and this was easily one of the best. From Michelle's warm and welcoming hospitality to the impressive house and first class amenities, this truly exceeded all our expectations.The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you might need, the beds are super comfy, the house is charmingly furnished and built to high spec. Also the pool table kept our family of four entertained when we had some down time, which was such a nice bonus. We also loved having the use of the kayaks and paddle boards and enjoyed some beautiful sunset paddles. The private sitting/lounge area down by the water was the perfect spot to sit and have our morning coffee and take in the amazing ocean views.Overall, we cannot recommend this place enough, and we can't wait to return.

We had a lovely stay at this unique house, the kayaks, etc. were an added bonus. The house was well stocked with everything you need. It was situated close to the Ferry, easy trip to Cathedral Grove and a nice drive to Victoria. We definitely recommend for families with children.

Seahaven Sanctuary

Beautiful Getaway spot Fantastic accommodation

Visited with my husband & 18yr old child. We had a wonderful stay, Michelle was the perfect host. Quick response to questions or requests. Fantastic outdoor spaces especially for guest use. The most comfy beds and a very well equipped kitchen. Location is spectacular, easy beach & water access, you can walk for miles around the shoreline. We will be back.

Quiet Waterfront Relaxation

Right from the get-go communication was great and prompt with Michelle and our directions to the property were clear and concise. When we got to the property it was exactly as advertised and extremely clean. We enjoyed the well stocked interior, but with the fabulous oceanfront just steps away and the weather being glorious we spent a lot of time checking out the tide pools along the kilometres of rocky oceanfront at low tide and the waterfront patio at high tide. Sea lions were regular visitors along the shoreline, and bald eagles perched over the property while we took in the ocean views from the patio. A very relaxing vacation was had.

Sanctuary

Our plans changed and we needed to book something on Vancouver Island later than I usually would. Fortunately, this wonderful property was still available. If you are lucky enough to have your dates available, book it now. Secluded, quiet, and in an idyllic setting, this is the perfect base for exploring the island, or just decompressing on property. A few steps from the cabin is a waterfront patio all to yourself, providing a tranquil place to start and end the day. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and well stocked. The king bed is comfortable. The linens plush. You couldn't possibly use all the towels provided. The hostess is fantastic: friendly and informative, but is invisible unless you need something. We had a great time here, and if we return, we'll book this property again.

Magical place

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this property is! It was perfect for our Girls relaxation vacation. It was a amazing combination of beach and forest. But as wonderful as the property is it was the hosts that made it memorable. Michelle has outfitted the cabin with everything you could want or need. She has great insight into things to do around the area and answered any questions we had. She was so supportive when we had a family emergency during our stay, and went above and beyond when the community had a power outage. We can hardly wait for the next time we visit!

Beautiful property with great amenties

We had a really enjoyable stay, thank you. We loved paddling on the bay and lounging on the waterfront. It was so easy to enjoy our time as everything had been thought of and then some. Then home, the property and everything provided is of the highest quality, incredible well taken care of and very clean and comfortable

Summer getaway

The property is stunning and the cabin is exceptionally welll equipped. It was a perfect getaway for our family, amazing to have the kayaks and stand up paddleboards, indoor and outdoor games, and the ability to walk right over to the ocean in just a few steps. The hosts are kind and available for questions. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Hosts and Hideaway

We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for better hosts! The property was gorgeous and the location was perfect. Highly recommend for a stay on Vancouver Island... close to all the great activities or just staying in and combing the beach and cooking dinner. Pool table was great, internet connection was flawless too. Thank you for a fantastic vacation!

Couldn't have had a more relaxing stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The property was beautiful and immaculate, set in the most peaceful surroundings imaginable. If only we had been able to stay for longer to enjoy all of the amenities! The hosts were amazing. Not only did they respond immediately to any questions, but also pro-actively addressed our needs. For example, on the first day my wife was struggling a bit to arrange the umbrellas on the patio as the sun went lower, on the second day they had put another screen there that allowed us to sit there comfortably for a few extra hours. Loved the wildlife too! Bald eagles nesting overhead, a seal popped out during a kayaking excursions, and met some friendly deer in the garden.

Seahaven Cottage holiday

My family and I loved our stay at Seahaven Cottage. Michelle welcomed us right away and continued to make sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. We loved the cottage. It was just right for four people. Very special property with all the amenities needed for a peaceful relaxing vacation to enjoy the nature of Vancouver Island.

Definitely a Sanctuary

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seahaven Sanctuary. It was very private and quiet. The home was very well decorated and comfortable. We had all the conveniences of home. We really enjoyed the bay, walking, the magnificent trees and foliage around the house. The property is located very close to restaurants, shopping, more beaches, etc. Michelle was always quick to respond to any questions we had, and was very good about making sure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return another time.

Amazing Place

Our family of four had an amazing stay at Seahaven Lodge. As nice as the pictures in the posting are, they don’t do the lodge and overall property justice. The accommodations and setting are absolutely stunning. The lodge was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The ocean is just steps away. We enjoyed several dinners down at the beach patio, and the kids had a blast beach-combing around the bay. Michelle and Dan are very friendly and accommodating - great hosts. We’ll definitely be coming back to this perfect place.

Fantastic spot

We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the accommodations! In addition to it being a great location and a cozy place, having stayed in many rental properties, this one stands out for its incredibly well outfitted kitchen! Sharp knives, lots of dishes, glasses etc.

A little piece of paradise

Even the driveway leading to this amazing lodge is magical and will stay etched in your memory like every other part of your experience staying there. The accommodation is stunningly decorated with incredible care being invested in every detail. It is very well equipped with absolutely everything you could need during your stay. If the lodge doesn't take your breath away, the view most certainly will. There is a very comfortable outdoor seating area right on the water where you can enjoy a meal or simply take in the stunning sunsets. It is beyond peaceful. They also have an array of boats for your use so you can explore the bay or beyond. My only regret about staying here is that we didn't spend more time with the amazing hosts! They are such wonderful people and I feel like I could chat and laugh with them for months. Basically stop scrolling trying to find where to stay... just doesn't get better than this:) Thank you so so much Michelle and Dan! We truly hope our paths cross again:)

Spectacular and Peaceful Gem

Our stay at Seahaven was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more. It was extremely clean, well stocked with everything you would need or want and more. The Oceanside sitting area was peaceful and relaxing with spectacular sunsets. We enjoyed long walks following the shoreline and the use of the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Thanks to Michelle for being a truly amazing host!
