"My family and I loved how cozy and comfortable our stay was. 15min walk to the beach or a 2 minute drive. The pool and hot tub were a big hit for my son. It’s nice and close to a lot of fun places to explore."

"I am in BC for work and had to stay over the weekend so I took the ferry from Horseshoe Inlet to Nanaimo. The ferry is easy and an enjoyable ride. The Savvy Seagull was a great place to stay. Very clean and the fireplace made it feel very comfortable in early Spring. Ray was very helpful and accommodating to my late check in. Thanks for everything!"

"Nice property. Enjoyed the grounds, ocean shore walks, pools. Lots of towels and such. Basic kitchen worked out. Very little storage space for clothes and such. Bathtub jets didn’t work. Overall was a nice stay"

"Lovely accommodation. Nice and quiet. Close to the road, but no issue for us Beds comfortable overall, but the loft could use either blackout curtains or a roller shade that keeps the morning light a bit more subdued, if you like to sleep in. It would be nice to have something to put luggage on to keep it off the floor, as I'm a senior citizen. Great private backyard patio. Good communication with owner. Would definitely recommend this property and we're hoping to come back again."

"Had a great night on our way North for 1 adult and 2 teenagers on a road trip. Loft was perfect, cabin was warm, firewood was dry and a bonfire was a total bonus. Shower was great, everything worked, played fun games all night. Thanks."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay in this modern and clean townhouse but would advise guests that as of fall 2023 there is no view from this unit and there is construction directly outside where the patio and BBQ area. We kept our blinds closed for the duration of our stay. The beach access is a bit tricky as well. "Very clean, spacious, well equipped suite. Not a big fan of the "Hunted House" decoration though. The stove fan was very loud. Outside deck was a bonus! Enjoyed having coffee there in the morning. It was a pleasant stay over all. Thank you!"

"Thank you Doug and family...your cabin and the entire property was amazing! The kids loved exploring everything outside - the creek was a magical and great place to cool down, the tree house which had a great view of everything and lots of fun swings, the cool teepee, and the firepit (gas) where they were able to roast their beloved marshmallows.
