"We stayed for a long weekend following Christmas - needed to get away from the city for a bit. It's a beautiful house with a great view and good location. It was just 3 of us so the space was fine -- I am not sure I would recommend it for a larger group in winter, as you'd really be on top of each other. For the other three seasons, the deck, hot-tub, and firepit would all be great ways to spread out. Would definitely love to go back sometime in the future!"

"We were delayed one day due to the river flooding the low water bridge into the neighborhood but the hosts were great about giving info and keeping us updated throughout. Once we were able to access the property the wait for well worth it, Wow, what a cool house right on the river! There were no amenities that weren't at the house, the Shaffer's are a great host and have a beautiful house in a picturesque location. We cannot thank you enough for a great stay, despite mother nature not playing...
