"The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of the beaches and all of the dining venues. The lady at the front desk, Marie, was very helpful and positive. Hotel and rooms very clean and staff vey friendly. The Southwest architectural design of the building was very different from the normal hotel appearances- very welcoming and charming. If back in the area in the future we will gladly stay here again."

"I already reviewed this once, but will repeat my comments. This hotel has a great location, but it is really in need of major upgrades. Security was a big concern: there were several gates from the parking lot and street that were kept unlocked at all times; anyone could get in without passing the front desk. There were card readers on the room doors but they were not operational. My mattress was old and I could feel all the metal springs. I had to cover it with extra pillows in order to sleep....

"This was a darling and comfy cottage! The decor & architecture inside and out was classic nostalgic Southern California with a taste of California's historic connections to Mexico. We loved the decor and all the little nooks! The location was very convenient - we were able to easily get to all of our venues in San Clemente, Laguna and Dana Point.
