"We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott."

She did a great job with answering our questions and checking on us throughout the stay. The grounds are extremely clean. "The staff needs a reality check in customer service. Overall, just rude and unprofessional. The only kind people we encountered were the ladies staffing the breakfast area in the mornings. Most front desk staff acted inconvenienced when approached by a guest. Guests are usually vacationing and the last thing they want to deal with is an unhappy Employee. "

"I booked a king room with a balcony. When we got there, we checked in, parked pretty far away, carried our luggage to out room only to find 2 queen beds. Noone informed us of a room change prior to walking in and finding out ourselves. It would have been nice to be informed when checking in at least. When i went back down to the desk to ask i was told there was probably a maintenence problem.They did offer us a free breakfast for the inconvenience but it doesn't change the bed size. When we...

"I had the best sleep of my year at this hotel in HH. It was clean and the beds were so comfortable. I will definitely stay here again! The continental breakfast was great!"

"The property at the Omni resort in Hilton head is beautiful and well maintained. We had a little hiccup upon check in with our room. But the hotel staff quickly intervened and found us a comparable alternative. I’d say the best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was lovely, accommodating, and genuinely interested in keeping the guests happy."

"Overall the hotel was nice, clean and spacious. Our toilet did not flush and the hotel did not seemed staffed to accommodate any guests requests. They dropped a plunger off at our door and walked away. It was a good thing we were only there for one night. "
