"The house was beautiful, with no surprises. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The house is away from most everything, however the neighbors on both sides are very close. One neighbor has quite the menagerie of animals, such as chickens, a rooster, ducks and a turkey, however we never heard them once we were inside. "Very nice VRBO. Exactly as described. Backyard was lovely, especially with the covered sitting area.Location was good for access to Lassen. Downtown Redding a short drive away.Shasta Lake City doesn't have a lot of amenities, but a grocery store is close for stocking up on supplies"

"The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay."

"We had a great time staying here, property was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Kids loved playing in the backyard and the ride on toys. We all enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table, and musical instruments. Neighborhood was nice as well, felt safe and family friendly."
