"The home is in a great location by the lake. While it is not lakefront, the closest beach access is 10 min walk, and it is about 5 min drive to a Meeks Bay Resort (a much nicer beach), close to Sugar Pines and DL Bliss State Parks, walking distance to a coffee shop and local market, and 15 min drive to Emerald Bay. "A Throop was not clean. Hair in too many places. There was no air conditioning in the height of summer - which wasn’t outlined until check in. No hot water anywhere."

"The spaciousness of the house and location were positives. But it lacked enough furniture in the main living area (only one small sectional) with a big open & empty area where chairs or other seating should have been and none of the bedrooms even had dressers, so unpacking was impossible and we were forced to put our suitcases on the floor or in the closet. The hot tub was nice but the deck it sits on is small with very limited seating unless in the hot tub. The furnishings & other inclusions...
