"The view from one of the bedrooms is exquisite. Snow covered redwoods! Debbie was extremely communicative. The hot tub was soothing on our muscle-fatigued ski legs! The kitchen is well appointed with kitchen supplies and everything you need to make meals. A very nice stay!"

We went to the park almost every day from sun up to sun down. Come back to that much needed hot tub! After all the hikes and bike rides, it was perfect! "The place was amazing and in the perfect location for a ski weekend. We were just a few minutes from Soda Springs. The chalet was cozy, well-stocked, and clean! We hope to stay here again in the near future and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful stay, but still close to fun. Truckee was just a short drive down the Hwy where the ladies went shopping and grabbed a quick bite to eat"

"This house was better than the pictures showed. The master bedroom was immaculate. It was about a 10 minute drive to tons of cool destinations for kids. There is even a trail you can walk in the neighborhood that makes you feel like you’re in a forest. We got personal text updates and check-ins from a real person. For the price, this is the place to stay at South Lake. "

The beds were comfortable and the host provided lots of extra bedding and blankets. Also, floor heaters in every bedroom were provided for additional heat.
