"The Stavrand is a beautiful property nestled in the redwoods just a few minutes walk from downtown Guerneville. The front desk and dining room staff were friendly and helpful. We brought kayaks, for which we were shown a safe place for storage. My disappointments were: (1) the swimming pool was quite cold, and the jacuzzi was not very hot and had no operative jets, (2) housekeeping did not come clean our room during our 2-night stay, and (3) the room, though lovely, had no real separation of bed...

"I originally had a better rating but after staying the night I did notice that the staff were using the blower to clear the front of the property a little after 7:00a.m. and it was loud enough to wake us up. I know that we were in one of the front rooms so nothing could be done about the traffic on the street but the noise from staff can be prevented. Also, people were checking in or coming in late and were very loud down the hall after 10:00p.m. Otherwise we had a nice stay."

"Escolhemos o hotel pela proximidade com o Lassen Volcanic National Park. Passamos três noites e, depois, voltamos para mais uma noite, na semana seguinte. Os dois quartos que pegamos foram muito confortáveis. Se escuta um pouco os quartos adjacentes, mas nada que incomode. Em uma próxima viagem ao Lassen, provavelmente retornaremos ao hotel. "

"Very convenient location on Main Street but quite at night. Has an excellent restaurant next door. Decor is antique and rooms are small. No refrigerator. Kuerig coffee make in the hall."

"The upstairs rooms are very dark very small and very noisy because the kitchen crew are working right outside below till after 1 am. They would not let us have breakfast because we did not have reservation, and there were only 3 tables being served. You would inn guests would be seated for breakfast. Very over priced for the experience we got."

"This inn and tavern were amazing! Truly one of the most beautiful places we've stayed on the central coast. It reminded us of our time in Tuscany, with it's old world charm and beautiful stonework. Our room was huge and had everything we needed for our romantic weekend away. The tavern staff were wonderful and even brought us complimentary sparkling wine for our anniversary. We will definitely be back!"

"This place rocks (pun intended)! Right on the marina with great views (and the sounds of the local wildlife) which can't be beat. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was awesome. King size bed, awesome shower. With a restaurant below, the Anderson Inn has everything. We will be back. In the meantime, we will be recommending this place to everyone we know."
