"The hotel was nice but I had a negative experience regarding the staff.
Our email said check in began at 3 pm. We showed up at this time to drop off luggage and use the bathroom before heading back out. When we were given our code and went to our room, the door was already open. Housekeeping hadn't finished cleaning though it looked like they were close. "What made our stay pleasant was Kellie. She is pleasant, helpful, and mindful. When I called, she took time to answer my question. When we had an issue with the room, she fixed it right away.
The hotel is outdated but it met our needs. The furniture in the room is old. The room smelled musty but bearable. The bed is good and we had a good night sleep."

"We absolutely LOVED this place. We knew there was a separate bedroom from the living space, but we didn’t realize how spacious and comfortable the living area was. All the windows face toward the ocean, the balcony overlooked the pool area and we enjoyed the fireplace on the cool, breezy nights. Hubby enjoyed the hot tub. The motel is within walking distance (if you enjoy walking) of restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!"

"Staff was very nice and extremely accommodating. I needed to extend my stay one more night and they made that process so easy. I also noticed they have luggage lockers you can store your stuff in if you arrive early/leave late, I didn’t use them so not sure if there’s a fee. I’ve been to Seattle a ton of times but I’ve never stayed in the Capitol Hill area, it’s a walkable neighborhood. Lots of bars/restaurants/shops in surrounding blocks.
