"WAS NOT INFORMED OF ADDITIONAL; CHARGES ADDED TO MY CREDIT CARD WAS VERY UNHAPPY WHEN I DISCOVERED THESE No wonder the Hotel didn't give me a receipt upon check out I WILL NEVER USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"We stayed at the Montvale five years ago and loved it so much that we decided to stay there again during this year's trip to Spokane. It's very conveniently situated, and has nice amenities including a beautiful indoor sitting area for lounging with tea, coffee, comfortable furniture, a host of eclectic books, and lots of artwork. The only problem with this stay was that our room was too bright at night since it was located at the front of the hotel and the marquis lights were on all night long....

"Beautiful hotel right in the heart of downtown Spokane. Do not use the staircase in the hotel."

"Great establishment, excellent service from all the staff"

"Our room was huge. The king size bed was very comfortable, it had large pillows, two night tables had ample charging outlets. Decor was very unique, I loved it. Bathroom was huge as well, with a large walk-in shower, shower wand, lots of counter space around the sink. It was very comfortable, and accommodated all our needs. The heating unit on the wall takes about 10-12 minutes to start pumping air, but we didn't know that, and thought it was not working. A call to the front desk clarified it,...

"The staff is absolutely amazing. The house keepers, breakfast attendents and front desk were all incredibly helpful and friendly! Only 4 stars because the beds are so hard I can't sleep and then I'm sore throughout the next day. The breakfast is definitely better than most continentals out there!"

"Hotel bom , junto com um clube , mas não usei a piscina .O prédio antigo bem charmoso , Não tem café da manhã , mas tem cafeteira no quarto e tem uma lanchonete no clube . O estacionamento fica a uma quadra de distância do hotel . Recomendo."

"Location good, riverfront easily reachable by foot. Welcome drink. Complimentary breakfest at Rose's was very good. Parking costs 7dol/night."

"Great property that is conveniently located. Room could use a little updating, but that might be because I had a pet room."

"Close to all downtown, and the river, very easy to walk."
