"Booked this very last minute after our other rental had to cancel due to a plumbing issue. They were kind enough to accommodate us last minute! Cabin was clean, decorated nicely and had some great modern amenities like cozy couches, wifi and TV. No complaints here, but if I'm being picky for suggestions a few things that would have helped us - a rug for shoes at the door, extra towels (there is no dryer or clothesline so we had a hard time getting them to dry each day), and maybe an upgraded...

"This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The walks on the beach and bonfire under the stars were incredible, as was kayaking on the lake. It is relatively centrally located, close to good public beaches on both Great and small lakes, and while you do have to drive to get places - it's the UP - the drives are beautiful and its a great home base for day trips; we went to Pictures...

"This was a last minute weekend in Oct stay! I am so glad we found EXPLORE and they had availability!! We stayed in a studio cabin. We did not use any of the provided appliances so I cannot comment on those.
Place was clean! Comfortable! Shower was perfect after a long day or two of hikes!
There are a couple of trails on property which came in handy after our long drive up first day ! Will stay here again !!!!"

"For the price this place can't be beat! You get everything you could need for your stay in a great location. The house is the last one on a dead end so no traffic with a great view of the river. Only thing we were bummed about was that the sauna wasn't available, but that was a small thing for the great value you get staying here. Hoping to come back next year. Cindy is a very responsive host! Thank you! "
