"This location is gorgeous to experience the fall colors. The house was lovely, clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The host was quick to respond to any questions. "Booked this very last minute after our other rental had to cancel due to a plumbing issue. They were kind enough to accommodate us last minute! Cabin was clean, decorated nicely and had some great modern amenities like cozy couches, wifi and TV. "Everything was perfect in the cabin. Cozy with everything you need. It was so quiet and very peaceful. Lots of places to walk nearby and we love the area of Wetmore and Munising in general. The dogs enjoyed watching the squirrel activity and hiking. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come in the winter with snow!"

"This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The walks on the beach and bonfire under the stars were incredible, as was kayaking on the lake. "we had a wonderful stay at a wonderful property. The area was very quiet except for the sandhill cranes flying overhead and they don't make much noise. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the kayaks and used them several times. Cell service is very spotty but the WIFI worked great. "

So you can still be connected if you choose to be, while being remote enough for a quiet, peaceful stay surrounded by nature. It was perfect as a homebase while exploring the UP.
