"Lovely cabin. It had everything we needed and is centrally located to different sights and restaurants. Beautiful view too, very peaceful. Only negative for me is that the water is too shallow to swim, but this was easily resolved by going to Roger’s Beach, which I highly recommend and is not that far away. Host was very helpful with my questions and very prompt with responses."

"Perfect spot for a UP vacation! The cabin was clean, accommodating, and had everything we needed for a family of six. The kids loved playing with rocks and sand in front of the house (bring water shoes to play here), and there’s a great sand bar for swimming a short walk away. Kids enjoyed smores by the fire and my little ones loved the play set. A drive to Manistique for ice cream and groceries is a quick twenty minutes and there’s a general store at the end of the road for last minute needs....

"Beautiful location & very clean RV. They stock the RV with everything you need. You really do just need your clothes & food. Beautiful place to kayak with hiking trails near by at the historic state park. The hosts were awesome too, we ask to borrow a tool to fix our kayak and they were super helpful & very nice. Highly recommend! "

"This property was a wonderful base camp for all of our adventures in the U.P. We also really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and personal touches as well as the back porch lakeside vibe. The only problem we encountered was with the ac unit. It was an unusually hot day for this area when we first arrived and the unit kept throwing a code.The owner was very responsive and helpful, visiting us personally to make sure everything was OK. Would recommend!!"
