"My husband and I had a perfect Valentine’s getaway here! The host was so friendly and incredibly quick with informative replies. The location is unbeatable—just one street from the snowmobile trails and close to gas and town. "There aren’t many options to stay in the UP. This was a little out of the way but the property was well designed and had some nice amenities. That being said, we would not choose to stay here again because of the strong smell of sewer gas.
Pros: plenty of space, huge master bath, nice view
Cons: pillows were extremely flat, no extra blankets, strong smell of sewer gas"

However, the main issue was that the entire living room wall power outlets were short-circuited, preventing access to the TV and power outlets in that room and one of the bedrooms. "Renter BEWARE. Host is unreasonable. She charged me for a pillow and linen that were left in a closet where I thought we retrieved them for the couch stay. I messaged the host and her response was that she cleans them herself and they were missing. I responded to let her know the two extra pillows were placed in the closet on the shelf and she has not removed the expense. There is a “for sale” sign in the yard so I am assuming she is just price gouging customers at this point. Stay at your own...
