"This is a RUSTIC cabin this isn't a glamping cabin or a bougie five star resort. Things are outdated, old and basic but that's what we were expecting and paying for. The things that you need to be clean and nice are, very impressed with the quality of bedding and cleanliness of shower. Loved that it was located so close to major trailheads. Old lady in the general store gets a 1 star rating. Would definitely stay again. "

"The place was great! I do agree with the comment that pictures don’t do it justice. Super cute and everything was labeled and well thought out. The breakfast down the road at the bear trap inn was good too. Will stay again if the opportunity arises."

"Simple, cozy place with the essentials. I had no cell phone service, but they do have good wifi service. So you can still be connected if you choose to be, while being remote enough for a quiet, peaceful stay surrounded by nature. It was perfect as a homebase while exploring the UP. I would definitely stay again. "

"Joseph the host did great with communicating, the house was clean and cozy. Beds were clean and comfortable. Perfect for a hunting weekend. Pots, pans, dishes, and cleaning supplies were readily available and worked great for us. Property was clean and well maintained as well! Would absolutely stay here again, perfect for our needs."
