"To start with, please keep in mind that we are talking about a 3 star hotel. I would NOT recommend going in high season. We were lucky to go at the start of low season where the hotel was not too busy. Positives: Very nice pools, one with a swim up bar. It Located on a beautiful stretch of beach with many beach chairs and umbrellas available. Not so for the main pool area. Very few umbrellas available. Nice gym and games room. The buffet food options were better than the other two restaurants....

"It was really special to stay in Nelson’s Dockyard. We stayed in the lofts and it was very relaxing. Only downside is the walls are paper thin (old building, I should have expected this) so bring ear plugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper! Restaurants were great at the hotel and the area is very walkable. There’s a complimentary boat to take you to Galleon Bay, which was a really nice beach."

"Bom resort, com boa estrutura para esportes aquáticos (vela, caiaque, stand up). As praias são razoáveis (estava com muitas algas) e os restaurantes são também apenas razoáveis (muita comida do gosto de ingleses, indianos e americanos."

"It is a charming hotel that makes you feel at home. There are just 16 rooms so it tends to be more intimate than standard resorts.
Our room was number 9 on the superior floor reached by stairs. It is a cozy apartmente with room, kitchen, living room, bathroom and a small porch where you can rest while having breakfast or reading a book. The air condition is a need.
The hotel is right on the beach and altough it is a public beach you are going to feel like in a private one. Just beside you have...

"This property is absolutely beautiful! The people manning the office are nice. The security is nice & helpful as we had a little trouble with the key to open the door. The gardens in this place are exceptional! The place is secure & location is the very best on the island...on Dickenson Bay.
