This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. "Super clean bathroom and sleeping area. The exterior is a throwback to the 60s motorcourt era but that hides a modern, comfortable room. The manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends."

"The renovations were beautiful. One suggestion would be that you upgrade the locks on the doors to a deadbolt type. The doorknob lock left us a little concerned, also daylight could be seen coming through from around the door. Regardless, not only would we look forward to staying again, but we would also wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting St Ignace."
"We had a great experience at Budget Host Inn. The room was exceptionally clean, which we truly appreciated. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which was perfect for traveling with our 15-month-old. It provided much-needed extra space for naps and early bedtimes.
The location is ideal, being close to downtown and within walking distance of Shepler's Ferry. This made getting to Mackinac Island super convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely stay here again!"

We did not use the pool, but our friends did and it was super cloudy, which looked gross, but could have been from an over abundance of chemicals? Either way, cleanliness is always my top concern and this place was just that, so I would definitely stay here again. "
