"This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! "It was good for sleeping. But would not go back. Heard noises all throughout our stay (footballs on the 3rd floor, people laughing and running outside in the hallways, shadows of them outside at all times etc etc.) There were mayflies everywhere on the balcony window so we couldn't go out there or open them, and the beds really did a number on my back. Not to mention the check in location was in a different building up a huge hill, which was very inconvenient and stressful. I had to ask...

"The properties location is ideal for walking to the downtown area where a number of restaurants / shopping are located. Walking distance to Sheplers Ferry vs taking the shuttle.
